Golf trip in Marbella: the guide to planning your trip

Marbella and the Costa del Sol form one of Europe's biggest golf regions. Nicknamed the “Costa del Golf”, the coast has more than 70 courses between Málaga and Gibraltar. It's the ideal destination for a trip where you play every day. Here's how to prepare your golf trip to Marbella.
When to go?
Spring is the best time: from April, the days are mild, sunny and long. That's why our Marbella golf trips start in April. Summer can be very hot in the middle of the day, and autumn also offers good conditions.
Getting there
Málaga airport has direct flights from most European cities. Marbella is then about 45 minutes away by car. Once there, it's easy to get around by car between your accommodation and the courses.
Which courses?
The Costa del Sol offers championship courses between sea and mountains, for every level. The courses played on our trips are listed with each date, depending on the group's level. The aim: play a variety of courses and learn to adapt your strategy to every hole.
What is a golf trip with a pro like?
Every day follows the same rhythm: a 1h30 warm-up with me, then out on the course in a golf cart. The group is 6 players maximum, split into 2 groups of 3, and I play 9 holes with each group. We finish with a debrief: what worked, what cost you shots, and the goals for the next day. It's more playing than coaching: you play alongside a tour player and see how he manages a course.
What budget should I plan for?
The price of the trip is shown with each date on the golf trip in Marbella page, with full details of what's included. Add your flight and personal expenses on top.
